Prism started in 2006 as a side effort to help business owners see what was actually happening inside their companies. The tools changed - the platforms, the models, the technology - but the work never did. It has always been the same job: take the mess of raw data a business generates and turn it into something a leader can act on.
Twenty years, thousands of dashboards, and hundreds of engagements later, the mission is unchanged: transform raw data into Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding - so great leaders can accomplish their missions successfully.
The name: why Prism
The name "Prism" was chosen after much prayer and consideration. It reflects a deep philosophy about knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and the mathematical beauty woven into the fabric of great business.
Inspired by Jesus's words in Matthew 5:14 - "You are the light of the world" - the prism was chosen for how it interacts with light: it clarifies, discerns, and amplifies. We want to do the same for your business. Power to your message, clarity to your data, amplification to your impact.

The logo - a symbol of foundations
The capital "P" in the Prism logo is designed to resemble the Greek letter phi (φ) - from the Greek word phos (φῶς), meaning "light." In mathematics, phi represents the Golden Ratio (≈ 1.618) - the proportion found throughout nature, architecture, and the human body that defines perfect harmony and balance.
The triangular prism shape also represents the strength of the pyramid - solid business foundations - and the threefold philosophy of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding working together in perfect proportion.
The Golden Ratio & business excellence
The Golden Ratio (φ ≈ 1.618) is one of the most remarkable constants in mathematics. It appears in the spiral of a nautilus shell, the branching of trees, the proportions of the human face, and the architecture of the Parthenon.
In business, the Golden Ratio principle translates to this: the most successful operations are built through elegant, proportional systems where each component feeds the next in perfect ratio. A small, focused team outperforms a bloated one. A simple, clear service outperforms a complicated one. This is the Prism standard.
